This is a pic of the family + friends trip she did to Grand Canyon when she was 17. Taken by her brother Jake while her mother yell at her to came out the precipice, her father laugh while set up the campfire, her friend Celty take the food and Celty's brother Clark the instruments.
The very important fact about that day was:
By the light of the campfire Kristen was singing another song, her parents were preparing a few more marshmallows, Celty and Clark playing their guitars and Jake was drumming with the mashmallows sticks.
After the song finished, Kristen asked:
- Hey everyone what do you think about we form a band? - everyone looked at her - We don't need to make it a huge band, let's do it just for fun like we are doing now. We do it everytime we hang out together, why don't do that professionally? I sing, Celty plays the bass, Clark the guitar and Jake the drums.
- Finally it came to your mind - said her mother Katherine - That was my very dream about your future and of your brother, I'm very proud of you.
In that moment Jake stood up and walked to the campfire to take another flaming marshmallow.
- Me too - said Celty already starting calmly another music - I always wanted to be a bassist and was thinking about it times ago, but was afraid to say because of your actress job.
- I thought about it too - said Kristen looking to her - and realized we can do this, other actors have a band or a single career, why we couldn't do it?
- If we are really going to form a band - said Clark looking to the night sky - first of all we'll need a name.
- That will be hard - said Kristen looking to her father - Dad you are the best on naming everything, can you help us?
- How about that? - Jake swinging the stick and the flaming marshmallow fell in Kristen's lap setting fire on her shorts.
- RUBY IS ON FIRE?!! - Said her father running to extinguish the fire.
And in that night Kristen, Jake, Celty and Clark formed Ruby on Fire.
